SNOW SHOE HIKES IN THE MOUNTAINS

Are you reddy to discover the mountains of northern Jämtland? Come close to nature by walking on snowshoes through the scandinavian wilderness. We will guide you over frozen marshland and icy lakes up to the mountain “Stakafjället”.
Learn to see and read wild animal tracks in the snow and have fantastic views over the lake and the forest. This activity is for all levels.

You will meet your guide at the meeting point and after a short introduction you will start your trip up the mountain Stakafjället through a beautiful nature resort.
About one hour later you will take a break in the middle of nature, light a campfire together and cook some lunch and coffee with the guide.
Then you will continue the hike back to the meeting point.
